In a house outside of town
lived a man who came around
didn't ask much but he gave more
that's one thing I know for sure

with a twinkle in his eye
his infectious laugh and gentle tone
always seemed to make the children smile
colorful tales of far and wild

                if he captured the moon he'd give you half

then one day he went away
no one knows where to this very day
